Pipeline Work and Intersection Closure
Tunneling
To increase safety and minimize disruption, EWEB bored a tunnel from the tanks to the intersection of Lincoln and 23rd. Learn more about the tunneling process and why it was necessary.
Intersection Closure
The intersection on 23rd and Lincoln will reopen once contractors finish work on the pipelines within the tunnel, likely in mid-to-late summer.
Open Trench Pipeline on 23rd Ave. from Lincoln to Amazon Parkway
When pipeline construction on 23rd begins, crews will work section by section to install new pipeline in an open trench. Construction on this section of pipeline is scheduled to begin in fall of 2026.
