By subscribing to EWEB Power Outage Texting program for outage notifications ("SMS"), you agree that you have read and understood, and that you accept and agree to be bound by, these Terms, without limitation or qualification.
You consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information to be collected and used in accordance with EWEB Privacy Policy, as may be amended from time to time.
- The SMS provides access to important services related to power outage information, including invoice statements, payment reminders, and usage alerts. Enroll in the SMS by sending OUT or Outage to TXEWEB ( 893932). You also acknowledge and agree that you are 18 years of age or older.
- You are under no obligation to continue to use the SMS and may cease using the SMS and unsubscribe at any time and without prior notice to EWEB. To unsubscribe from SMS, send STOP to TXEWEB (893932). We will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just follow the procedure above to register. We will start sending SMS messages to you again.
- If, at any time, you forget what keywords are supported by our SMS, just text HELP to 893932 for help. We will respond with several keywords supported by our service: HELP, INFO, STOP.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- While EWEB does not charge you for your use of the SMS, you may be charged standard data fees and text messaging rates by your mobile phone carrier depending on your plan when you send or receive SMS messages. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

How do I opt in for text message notifications?
Opt in flow:
To opt-in text OUT or OUTAGE to TXEWEB (893932) to report an outage.
Opt out flow:
To opt-out, text STOP to TXEWEB ( 893932) to stop messages from the Power Outage Texting program.
Open EWEB official website and navigate to Power Outages under Outages & Safety. Based on your choice, you can opt in to text message notifications by sending an SMS to TXEWEB (893932) to report and receive outage status. If you wish to opt-out of text messages send STOP message to TXEWEB (893932).
What will I be able to do after I sign up for text message notifications?

Do you have a “Do Not Disturb Time Range?”
No, Outage alerts are sent as outages occur.
